What is Palliative Care?

Palliative care is specialized medical care for people living with serious or chronic illnesses. It focuses on relieving symptoms, managing pain, and improving quality of life while supporting patients and their families. Unlike hospice care, palliative care can be provided at any stage of an illness and can be received alongside treatments intended to cure or manage the underlying condition.

Our team works closely with patients, caregivers, primary care providers, and specialists to develop personalized care plans that reflect each patient’s medical needs, goals, and preferences. I was honestly very surprised how much she would do to help my dad be comfortable and clean. She was very attentive to him and helpful for me, answering all my questions and making sure I had the supplies I needed and helping me to know what I could do to help him when she wasn’t here with me. From Justin, the community liaison,  her hospice nurse, Carrie and her CNA Kristy, the entire team was amazing.  They all provided such loving care.  Kristy was able to get my moms skin looking good and did a great job cleaning her.  She treated her exceptionally well, just like family.  My mom loved Carrie and Kristy.
